I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive any of her plagues; for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her offenses.

Pay her back even as she has paid, and give back to her double according to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.

To the extent that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, to the same extent give her torment and mourning; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning.’

For this reason in one day her plagues will come, plague and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her is strong.

To all who may read the NASB, one lie added among countless, is that Jesus lied in John 7:8.

8 Go up to the feast yourselves; I am not going up to this feast, because My time has not yet fully arrived.” 9 Now having said these things to them, He stayed in Galilee.

10 But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as though in secret.

If you'd like to learn more about why that is the case, and deepen your faith and trust in the power of god's word, I recommend this book.

If you don't trust that link, you can download it from library genesis. (a great resource)

I highly recommend reading it. God promised to preserve his word perfectly, and he kept that promise faithfully. Knowing god's exact words without qualification gives us greater faith in his promises, and strength in our prayers. God bless you pedes.

Context is important.

So His brothers said to Him, “Move on from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing. For no one does anything in secret when he himself is striving to be known publicly. If You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.” For not even His brothers believed in Him. So Jesus *said to them, “My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify about it, that its deeds are evil. Go up to the feast yourselves; I am not going up to this feast, because My time has not yet fully arrived.” John 7:3‭-‬8 NASB2020

Jesus was declining to travel with his brothers, who wanted him to be a showman.

Suppose a co-worker saw me leaving the office at 2:00 p.m. and asked me, “Are you going home?” and I said, “No,” but later went home that day at 5:00 p.m. Have I lied? Not at all. When I left the office at 2:00 p.m., I went to run a quick errand—I did not go home. When I departed the office at 5:00 p.m., however, I went home. “No” is often truthfully used in a time-sensitive manner. Simply because at 2:00 p.m. I said I was not going home, does not mean I could not go home at 5:00 p.m. My “no” meant “I’m not going home at the present.” Similarly, if Jesus used the term “not” [ouk] rather than “not yet” [oupo], He could just as easily been implying the same thing: “I am not going to the feast at the present.”

When the proper time fully arrived, Jesus went. Yet or no yet, Jesus did not lie and your entire argument is invalid.

Are you still spouting this perverted view of yours?

Leave off. I already showed how you were wrong once.

Some people believe that the early church conspired and succeeded in altering scripture, that god denied access to anything resembling his true word for 1800 years until a self admitted spirit worshipper and closet catholic found it in a pile of trash waiting to be burned. A document so full of errors and outrageous lies that no translator is willing to follow it closely, but believe that document is modern man's best hope to recreate god's word using man's great wisdom and knowledge to do so.

Most christians do not actually understand that this belief is the foundation of their bible, and would not willingly choose such a bible if they knew. This post is to educate those who could not and would not be willing to believe such a lie.

Conspiracy theory based on a false understanding of linguistic analysis.

There is nothing pure or unique about the KJV.

Behind this argument is the same cultic spirit that said the Latin Vulgate was the only pure way to read scripture for a thousand years (give or take).
