It could be a subsidiary. I think that if the original poster is correct in the claim that this company's offices reside in the same building as Smartmatic -- that raises a few red flags.
Rule of thumb in business: When something is too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence -- it usually isn't.
If this is true -- then Billy Bagpipes will end up Gitmo along with the rest of them. I always thought he was an odd choice for the job due to his Mueller ties -- unless that was the point all along. Inviting him for a first class cruise on the Titanic (so to speak) so he could go down with the deep state.

Any constituent can inquire about federal agencies and get answers to their concerns. Call your Congress critter or Senator. We used to get a myriad of inquiries when I was in congressional office.
