Pede is short for centipede which, I've gathered is a predator. So there you have it.
Pepe was originally someone else's creation. People adopted him. I find the various ways people draw him so fascinating that I now have a Pepe collection. He's cute...he barbecues, wears tuxes, dresses up as a clown, has been a doctor...there is no end to his many talents! :)
KEK -- I gathered this is a frog god in a video game but don't know which one.
Why frogs..because frogs were a plague upon Egypt. We are a plague upon the President's enemies.

Kek is an old chan meme. Its from World of Warcraft: its what "lol" was translated to for non-horde players in local chat. So when you'd cause havoc online just because or "for the lulz" it eventually evolved into praising Kek. Further iterations would see the rise of the meme-nation "Kekistan" as people self-described themselves as Kekistani...the rabbit hole goes deep

I'd agree. It took me a few months to figure out what was going on and I still don't know which video game Kek came from!
But my favorite part is the Pepe drawings and the creative way the people on the board depict him. You never know what he is going to show up doing next and some of the drawings are animated.
Have you seen the tiny Pepe sitting on the stack of ballots on the "make a post" page? He's adorable -- but can't be saved (unfortunately!). I've become quite taken with the little guy because the people here have given him personality. I don't know if that was their intent....but he really does have a kind of personality all his own. It's amazing for the result of a group effort!

I thought there also was something about a frog in that one book people use to say Trump is a time traveler.

Pede is short for centipede, which refers to the edm song of that name by knife party. That song is featured in the intro of the "can't stump the Trump" videos.
