The other reason in me giving up on dating is guys straight up lying to get into bed. First guy I dated pretended to be a Trump supporter actually.
I'd suggest trying to find people in person through activities or some kind of local community. Finding people online seems good because it's so difficult to locate people with common interests, but it's been a disaster (and plummeting rates of people staying together reflect that) because there are unconscious cues that are important that can't be sensed if you don't meet in person. Trust your instincts on that one and don't "reason" yourself into liking someone that solely sounds good in print.
Having a shared community also tends to make relationships last better, but local communities have already been wrecked in most places by social engineering, so who knows on that one.
And then there's just the stark reality that most kids today come from wrecked or dysfunctional homes and were raised by public schools and media because their single parent was too busy, so it's difficult to meet a young man who knows anything about taking care of himself or a relationship or home, let alone being a good spouse or father.
Find guys here who are local, there are tons of intelligent, patriotic single men who would jump at the chance to date a women who has even basic decency.
