My dad is the same, he's still a fox loving boomer who says there's no evidence ,we had an argument over thanksgiving weekend and he can't understand why I'll be willing to throw my life at tyranny because of a stolen election, but not once have I ever thought that anybody at these hearings should dial back their passions because of what some worms at CNN might do

I agree 100%, and the GOP is a relic of the past. If our father's can't open their eyes to the world around them then we move forward regardless of them. If the GOP wants to be complicit in the theft of an election, then they all get to hang from the same tree. Handcuffing ourselves to the GOP who have handcuffed themselves to the media is not the way to victory.
