Similar thing I think is going on in Canada. There’s one test that’s really good but brand new, I know the professor who developed it.

Well health Canada (our fda) keeps fucking up their approval of it (2nd time since July) because their PCR comparison method can’t distinguish infectious virus but the proposed method can. It seems a ince pcr is supposed to be the infallible gold standard, the regulators don’t want to approve just yet.
