Anyways, question about your Dad: has he ever had a reaction to a "regular" cold or flu?

And, what would cause a reaction to a virus like that? (I'm thinking anaphylaxis type reaction; is that what you mean?)

I am allergic to something and carry an Epi-Pen everywhere. When I hear "had a reaction" I immediately think about what I go through every time it happens to me (every few years...)

I'm trying to understand how/why someone has a reaction to a coronavirus, and if they've had similar reactions to other coronaviruses or rhinoviruses or influenza?
