These people are not benefitting him now, they won’t him when re-elected. These people are hurting him. Why not fire them and declassify everything? Has Trump been threatened? This makes no sense.

It would look bad politically. If Trump fires Barr, it would be framed as retaliation for appointing Durham as Special Counsel (Durham isn’t on our side, folks). If Trump fires Wray, it would be framed as Trump fomenting his “white supremacist” base given Wray’s comments about how supposedly dangerous of a threat that is to this country.
What would Trump gain from firing them?
He would gain declass of all Russiagate and Flynn info by removing Haspell. She is blocking it illegally. Trump also has zero reason to worry about optics at this point.
