Several sermons in the Gospel mention the concept of private property. My take is that your personal wealth will not be enough to save you, and like anything else it can distract you from what's really important.
In fact, Christ never really went on about political rights since he was not a political leader (unlike the principle characters of other major religions). The Jews wanted God to send them a political ruler, but instead he sent his son to redeem all humanity of their sins. Jesus was never like, "give up all your stuff and put all power in the hands of a few assholes like Gates and Merkel! BLM!"
