Doesn’t matter - non-affiliated would be enough. Can you imagine the GOP folks ball sacks tightening (assuming they have any left) if a lot of Republicans began disappearing. Then easy enough to switch back to GOP or MAGA party later. Obviously need to check state requirements on how often and when you can change parties (usually 30 days to be eligible for closed primary).
