I hate how the left is constantly trying to change the meaning of words. They/them by definition refers to multiple people, a plurality, therefore an individual cannot use they/them to refer to himself/herself or expect others to.
Indeed. It frustrates me that people also forget/ignore that English DOES have a pronoun for when you don't know an individual's gender- HE! The masculine pronouns are inclusive in English, and the feminine pronouns are exclusive.
