Want honesty? About 95% of the Senate (both D and R) do not give an absolute shittle dropping about policy.
They want three things:
- A nervous base (to raise money)
- A scary enemy party (to raise money)
- A tight Senate so each one can parlay their individual vote (to raise money)
See a pattern?
Only one Senator shows consistent principles (Paul) and Cruz is a close second. “Super Conservative” Lee, too, if we are talking about giving out foreign visas.

If Trump actually loses, concedes, whatever.. then I can understand a boycott much, much more. But if Trump wins (he will) we must keep the senate at all costs.
I totally concur. Life is easier w the Senate than without.
It’ll be both better and worse. When Trump is inaugurated, they’ll of course act like they were always on his team. They are worthless boot-lickers...but predictable.
It is not my job to strategize how to handle senators. It’s my job to follow the president.
Exactly my point on your grand suggestion - Trump has absolutely earned that right - but i disagree a bit in that people NEED to understand their political systems ESP micro-level local govts (think SoS and DA/judges)

FUCK Rand Paul. That RINO sold his vote for Lee's Green card for Indian H1Bs so more H1Bs can be given out bill in exchange for 20K green cards to be given to Filipina nurses so they can steal American nurses' jobs in Kentucky and other states.
He is also anti-Wall and pro-open borders. Rand is a fraud and the worst type of RINO there is due to him acting like he has any principles at all.

Point was on more than one occasion, the vote was 99-1, 98-2, 95-5...Paul was one of the few (along w Cruz) to take on his own party for principle. Plus broke some ribs by a commie, got Covid, shot at by a lunatic, and savaged by Trump during debates but is the ONLY senator to mention election fraud so far in a meaningful wat - but yeah lets get mad about Filipina nurses 🙄.
