My wife and I are already looking to move south to Texas or Florida once the lease on our current rental is up. Hopefully we won’t all be sectioned off by state by then thus requiring us to get “citizenship” in another state while illegal free loaders are allowed to pour over whatever border suits their fancy that day.
If I get trapped in a state, I'd rather it be Texas. I feel like shitloads of people are moving there and that sucks. I dont want to be part of that crowd that locals hate, but I plan to be invisible out in the country somewhere.
I’ve got the Texas native card that I can pull which gets the wife in. Same idea though, we will settle somewhere that’s arms length from everyone and where everyone minds their Ps and Qs.
Same! TX native although I havent lived there in 40 years. I'm sure my hometown has changed A LOT. I just want to be left alone, only need a few acres, away from the crowds.
