Expect the deep state, intelligence establishment, and maybe some subversive actors in the military to make "destabilizing" moves in an effort to pressure Trump out of office. The Democrook Party's BLM/Antifa "black bloc" will quickly sign on to that.

This is what I feel the most likely outcome. President Trump will need to use it at some point. The only question is if he will need to use it prior to presenting his case at SCOTUS.

Doubt it. Court cases need to be played out in full so Trump can win them and present it as evidence to the public. From there, the Dems can either accept a rightful #FourMoreYears of Trump, or (more likely) they will start the civil war first. The Dems will go down in the history books as the evil Commie-backed aggressors who brazenly stole the vote, defied the Supreme Court, and assaulted their own country to avoid accepting the will of the people.
When the Dems start the war, Trump (and every #MAGA American) have every right to finish - and win it.
The timing is important though.
The military will be far more willing to back GEOTUS if he can make his case prior to the Insurrection Act being used.
Plus he'll get more people to join the militia action that will inevitably follow.
