Trans issues are also unique in that they’re the only ones that largely require everyone else to change and not the person, such as with the pronoun movement and now apparently simulated pregnancy. I don’t even see the point of simulated pregnancy. If women could all somehow have kids without going through pregnancy, I’m willing to bet they’d all do it.
There’s also the issue that if you think you’re not entirely a man or a woman, forcing yourself into one box or the other would seemingly be inauthentic to who you are. I have lesbian family members and they don’t see the point in having gay people try to pretend to be straight, and I respect that.

I still remember the night in the hospital room when our new little girl was sleeping in her arms, and we looked each other in the eye... I think that was the exact moment we grew up. Fast forward a quarter-century, and both our kids are grown-up now. They taught us as much as we taught them. We dropped being selfish by day 0.5, because we both needed each other to the fullest to make sure that our daughter (and later a son as well) had everything she (they) needed.
Strange thing is, you don't learn your true emotions until you have children. Alimony is not paid from just men to women - it's based on who has higher earnings. Men are more likely to have higher salaries b/c women are more likely to step back and raise the family. Some women pay men alimony. Also asset division is by default 50/50. I've seen plenty of guys who call it quits after 20 yrs and get mad at the idea of paying alimony to a woman who decided to take a severe paycut to stay at home and raise the kids. Marriage is a legal partnership with obligations and if you and your significant other can't handle it then don't get married.

Over a decade, and many babies later, my husband and children think I'm the most beautiful woman alive. He doesn’t say to not waste time with a woman who refuses to have sex before marriage; he states that in the modern day, the vast majority of women will give up their virginity (and forego all of their morality too, for that matter) for a guy they REALLY like. In essence, it’s not that they won’t have sex before marriage—it’s that they won’t have sex before marriage with you.
If a woman isn’t willing to sleep with you, it simply means she isn’t really interested/attracted to you. That’s it. So don’t waste your time over something that was never meant to be, and don’t waste her time by being a creep, stalking her, buying her flowers when all it does is make her cringe inside, etc. because that’s Hollywood crap that makes men weak and wimpy and distracts us from our mission.
If she’s telling you she wants to wait till marriage, there’s a very high probability that she’s just stringing you along because she wants something out of you and will blackmail you with divorce rape if you don’t concede to her demands. Why should I have to work for something that someone else got for free?
Women don’t love men in the way men desire. That means you, as a man, will not find “true love”, because it does not exist. You will not find true love in marriage. And because of that, marriage is rendered pointless. Therefore, do not get married.

Humans don't fully mature until they become parents. I believe that's true of both men and women.
The problem is, evolution never gave us a strong desire to be parents. It just gave us a strong desire to have sex. In the natural world, those two things are pretty much equal, because sex leads to parenthood. But in the modern world, with contraceptives... that's not the case. Now a lot of people are growing old without taking the final step into emotional maturity, and they don't even know it.

Before we had kids, the missus and I would spend every weekend at a party or club, blow money on stupid shit, and in general were rather selfish, even in relation to each other. I thought I knew everything, and so did she - we had all the answers and we enjoyed it.
When our first kid was born, it woke us right the fuck up. All the sudden I realized that I didn't know jack shit, and had to learn fast. My wife was even more scared. I still remember the night in the hospital room when our new little girl was sleeping in her arms, and we looked each other in the eye... I think that was the exact moment we grew up. The moment that made our marriage the unbreakable rock that it still is today. The moment of resolve.
Fast forward a quarter-century, and both our kids are grown-up now. They taught us as much as we taught them. We dropped being selfish by day 0.5, because we both needed each other to the fullest to make sure that our daughter (and later a son as well) had everything she (they) needed.
Strange thing is, you don't learn your true emotions until you have children. For instance, the thought of some dude hurting my baby girl was when I first felt a no-shit bloodthirsty urge to kill another human being. (she's 6' + tall now and well able to care for herself, but...) Lots of other emotions besides.
But yeah - if you've never had kids, you've never really grown up.

Personally I never understood the whole separate bank account things once you became a FAMILY. Obviously people will bring various elements into the relationship but, over time I would have thought it would consolidate down to shared resources. It's not like you keep a second house just because.

Plus, some people will start spending more money than they make because they'll see the account get bigger. Just not worth it from a logistics standpoint. Alimony is not paid from just men to women - it's based on who has higher earnings. Men are more likely to have higher salaries b/c women are more likely to step back and raise the family. Some women pay men alimony. Also asset division is by default 50/50. I've seen plenty of guys who call it quits after 20 yrs and get mad at the idea of paying alimony to a woman who decided to take a severe paycut to stay at home and raise the kids. Marriage is a legal partnership with obligations and if you and your significant other can't handle it then don't get married.

Marriage currently is an awful proposition for men. There is zero upside for a man to get married. If the laws change, then fine, but until then we will see fewer men get married. How is marriage awful for women in any sense? What difficulties do they face? Men gain zero advantages by getting married. A woman can get caught cheating and still fuck the man over financially thanks to our feminized society. Prenups are almost useless, I wouldn't rely on one. Marriage damages your career and body? That's a really weird argument to make... 90%+ of deaths on the job are male, not female. I thought in our brave new world, women could have it all? As for housework, most entitled Western women will expect men to do half, despite being the man being primary income source as well. I don't buy the whole 'man works a job, wife stays home and they split duties equally' concept. That isn't how modern Western women act.
