The SCOTUS needs to come out strong against unconstitutional restrictions. They didn't rule on this, they just sent it back to the lower court telling them to see the SCOTUS 5-4 case in NY. So now it has to go back to the lower court, which they can just ignore. Just like the writ of mandamus to Judge Sullivan on Flynn's case.
They can't just ignore it.
