Our government is supposed to be operated by elected citizens, not just lawyers. I think very few people actually understand every nuance of the law. Prof. Eastman is an expert in this area and I doubt many people have his knowledge. I think it's ok they legislators don't know everything about the law, but only that they understand it and truthfully follow it.
