The Old Testament is full of situations where the enemies of God's people were humiliated in the most comical ways. God truly has a sense of humor.
The Book of Esther is both Shakespearean and hilarious. It would be perfect Looney Tunes fodder if you replaced the 75-foot impalement pole with something less gruesome.
I read a comment on another blog this morning: "Pray that the Almighty God gives Trump and his people strength and fortitude to carry on. Pray for victory. I would also say, pray that it is obvious that Trump didn't do all the work, but that the Almighty intervened because of the prayers of His people. Let His power and might be exalted throughout the land."
It reminds me of Gideon's army, that God reduced to just 300 men, lest they brag that they had won the battle themselves. Impossible odds make no difference, if it is God's will.
I am cautiously thinking the same thing. We still absolutely need statehouse Republican reps/senators to grow a spine, hold their own legislative sessions with or without their respective governors summoning one, and appoint electors to replace the fraud-associated ones.
