its depends on the tribe, some were peaceful traders that had treaties with neighboring tribes, usually the more settled ones. some were downright viscious. some tribes deliberately wiped out enemy tribes etc. some were really accepting of the settlers, some were pricks. but yeah it wasnt like all kumbaya, and then the white man came.. thats lefty racist bullshit that thinks they were all one big happpy family across the whole continent.
