Pensacola is cool, my old hometown. I go to Miami sometimes, but it’s a mixed bag and expensive. Jacksonville is not desirable in my opinion, to be kind about it.
If you don’t speak Spanish don’t go to Miami. Tampa got plenty of good loose women, Orlando is full of weird art kids. Jacksonville isn’t bad all. Pensacola is Alabama.
Stay away from Orange County and Orlando. Both run by F,,,,g Dems. City Commission just declared we are in a “Climate Emergency.”
Orlando Utilities Commission has committed to going totally “Green.” Great - now we can have brownouts in the middle of 90s plus temperatures in summer. Idiots.
Lake County is beautiful AND sane. Give it a look. Good luck. Be glad to have you!
If you weren't single I'd say Naples, great beaches, food, nice walking areas, upscale. But it's more of an older affluent crowd. Fort Myers would be a place to look. I'm not a big fan of South Florida, prefer southwest. I currently live outside of Jacksonville. In North Florida St Augustine would be somewhere to consider. We haven't had much in lockdowns or mask mandates in my county, Clay, but not much night life here, more family oriented. Very Christian and conservative though. You never have to shovel sunshine. Used to live in Cleveland and will never move back north or to Midwest. Good luck!
You and me both. I can’t imagine how great it would be walking around in public and seeing a persons face again. Not having to wear layers half the year is a definite plus too lol
Thanks for the great advice! I’ve heard a lot of good things about Naples and southwest Florida in general. Just want to make sure I’m not moving into a retirement community lol
Gainesville FL. More churches than people

TLDR. Recommend Jax
Central Florida or the Panhandle.
Coastal or inland, take your pick if you like the beach or not.
panhandle
