Longtime reader, first time poster. I like data, its hard to dispute data, but am not as good as all of you. I did some rough math, and think it warrants a deeper dive.

MN election total votes have been pretty consistent the last couple general elections. This year, they spiked. I only looked at Votes for Trump V Biden and Trump V Clinton.

In this election, 510k new voters were added. New is simply defined as in addition to. example. 2 votes in 2016, 3 in 2020, 1 new.

Biden somehow won 68% of new votes. 349k.

In Minneapolis, Hennepin County, 117K new votes, Biden took 103k. 88% Dakota County, 78% 35k Ramsey County 84% 33k Anoka County 69% 25k Washington County 70% 22k

Those seem super high. and they are. They are way higher % than the total % of that county, which they are baked into.

So here is my theory. Why is it, that the "new votes" added in each area, voted at a much higher rate for Biden, Than everyone else in the county.

Trump Won MN, and I think if one of you looks into the data, you'll be able to see it.
