Ditto. I have never been impressed by our senators. They love the status quo. Anything that makes THEIR lives easier. I've reached out to Inhofe over the years, and he is really friendly and prompt, but...
I nailed him for voting for the NDAA of 2012 that circumvented Constitutional rights, allowing any American citizen to be arrested without being charged for a crime for an indefinite amount of time without legal representation. He really only parroted War on Terrorist bullshit. Tsk.
I've made this statement on here before. Inhofe is a liar and snake. He had no problem going to war and pretending to care about the families here who lost loved ones. Don't believe him if he tells you he attends any of their memorial services unless he can make it into a publicity stunt. Hopefully the fuck dies or retires after this last election.
So how is that legal, seeing as it violates the Constitution? Lemme guess, it's not. But a man with both a badge and a gun IS the law. And a Judge ruling like this is just as bad. And who can afford appealing this all the way to SCOTUS?

Is that NDAA thing still on the books?
Yes. Feds can pick up anyone and hold indefinitely without charge. Courtesy Obama.

Have they used it for anyone other than Boston bombers?
