So my work tests us each week on Tuesday. I was under the weather for Wednesday/Thursday and was deliberating whether or not to suck it up and go in or call out. I called out because I have a ton of unused sick days, and so I could watch the hearings. Now I get a text to quarantine for 10 days.

My worst symptom is a tiny cough, cold nose, and eyes sort of shutting on me. Like a regular cold. I’m already better than what I was just by drinking cranberry juice and taking ZMA zinc.

What the heck man. Guess I’ll update you all how this weekend goes recovering. Kinda pissed I can’t go to work and am forced to use vacation time. Kinda excited to watch the hearings live with you all.

MAGA!

Hope so! Boss said he would reach out to HR about “allocating time for days off”

Yep. It should also be on your state employment website. I just drafted our Covid policy earlier this year. You cannot be forced to use PTO for this.

Ditto if you are asked by the company or doctor to quarantine due to exposure.

You get 14 days.
