The situation we’re in is the equivalent of the Democrats marching into our country, burning down all our cities, slaughtering our prisoners of war and raping our women. And now they are about to March on our capital city and the Republicans, like a bunch of cucked UN peacekeepers, are still trying to figure out whether they are legally allowed to shoot back.

It made me so angry watching Ingraham’s show tonight and seeing the Georgia state officials saying “yeah we need to discuss these mail in votes” and even taking the idea of Georgia as “a purple state” seriously.
Fuck them! I want to hear “we are going to shut down this mail in voting system” and “Georgia is not a purple state, it is a red state stolen through fraud from the city government of Atlanta.”

I think the GOP are obsessed with getting favorable legacy media coverage. They seem to LOVE when there's a "good boy pat on the head" story in the news about them.
What the GOP doesn't understand is that you will never get favorable coverage unless you win. If the Democrats win, they are going to rewrite history to portray us as irredeemable monsters just like they've done with the Confederacy. It won't matter how nice we tried to be to them because the only people 50 years from now who will believe it are people who've gone to extraordinary lengths to research the topic of our current election.
I research history enough that I am well aware already of how so called "history classes" have butchered modern people's perception of our ancestors. People have been brainwashed to believe that everybody before about 1900 or even 1970 in many cases, were dumb, racist, sexist, and heartless barbarians. And by implication, conservative values are blamed for people having been this way. And to be fair, there are a lot of morally questionable practices from the past.
But what people don't understand, is that there's a lot of things people are doing today which would have morally outraged our ancestors as well and they would have been completely right to be outraged. We push children to mutilate their genitals, we have normalized violent and perverse sexual fetishes, we have destroyed thousands of people's businesses and livelihoods over a virus that would've been scoffed at in the past, we allow innocent people's lives to be destroyed for the sake of coddling women and minorities' feelings by believing any accusation of rape or racism without bothering to determine what the truth is.
Going back to my original point though, optics have to come later. Optics are something we have to deal with when we can feel confident we won't be living under a totalitarian regime in 5 years. We have got to say fuck optics and do what it takes to preserve this country and the Republic now.
