GA Governor Brian "I'm a Soy Commie" Kemp just agreed to a signature audit. Given that Kemp is a commie soy munching bottom dweller, we must ask ourselves why he would agree to this.

The signature audit in GA may be of minimal value due to recent changes to the absentee ballot signature laws.

Signatures appear in three places. One is on the absentee ballot request, another is on the absentee ballot return envelope, and the last one is in the poll book from the voter registration.

They changed the law so that only two matches are need; which means if the request signature matches the return signature, it's OK under GA law... ANYONE SEE ANY POTENTIAL PROBLEMS WITH THAT?

The change in requirements was decreed unilaterally by Kemp, without a law being passed: https://www.democracydocket.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/41/2020/03/GA-Settlement-1.pdf

Yes, it's inaccurate. The signatures are always matched with the one on file with the board of registrars, per state law:

https://codes.findlaw.com/ga/title-21-elections/ga-code-sect-21-2-381.html

However, an absentee ballot application shall not be rejected due to an apparent mismatch between the signature of the elector on the application and the signature of the elector on file with the board of registrars.  In such cases...

OK, what's your source text for the new law?

It was unilaterally changed by Kemp under the "Compromise and Settlement Agreement and Release" with the Democratic Party of Georgia Inc. https://www.democracydocket.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/41/2020/03/GA-Settlement-1.pdf

Lin Wood is suing over this, because the law says one thing, but the election regulations are completely different.

The gov can not change law.

Given that the courts have refused to do anything about it, it's certainly looking like he can. All of these lockdown orders are unconstitutional and passed by decree - no one seems to give a shit about those "laws" either.

I would also like to see your source for new law?
