The President is the chief law enforcement officer of the USA. 14th amendment gives him the sole right to enforce equal protection measures as the legitimate elected official. No court can stop him and congress can’t either, but, he does need popular support and a legitimate mandate to fix. This has been done as recently as the Little Rock case with the 101st and had its roots from 1871.
If the SCOTUS and states refuse to do the right thing and the evidence is clear, he can clean house. The question is, will he do it. I think he will do it. He has to act like it’s not an option while hinting this can be done, but to never say so, until it’s the exact moment to do so. Exhaust all legal options first.
