Tell me if my math is off please.

US population: 330,665,000 (www.census.gov/popclock/)

Total number of people infected: 14,314,265 4% infection rate

People who have died with, but not necessarily FROM the infection (meaning you had to have had a SERIOUS illness like cancer, heart disease or a rusted nail in your foot to compromise your health enough to allow this joke to kill you: 279,867 1.2% overall death rate.

6% of all deaths were attributed to Covid itself, that's 16,000 people. (www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm#Comorbidities) 0.004% chance of actually dying from it.

Pretty sure that's right BUT, it's also numbers spanning 2 flu seasons now. I wonder if they're gonna start doing that with influenza?

Well in the CDC website when looking up the flu, it clearly tells you that the flu numbers have been lower this year due to many being mistaken for Covid. Covid wouldn't have been as serious in reports if the government didn't hand money out to hospitals for covid related cases.

lol, That's right! I was talking with my aunt over Thanksgiving and she said they just converted another ICU room to Covid room, I asked her about influenza and she said they haven't seen any. $13k to diagnose, $39k to treat on ventilator, $14k for Covid deaths. With no oversight at all written into the legislation that hands out the money.
