One thing I do know, we need some seriously harsh form of punishment for fraud. Like so harsh people aren't even willing to try it. I say public hanging that is televised on all the corporate media channels.

Some third world countries have more secure elections than we do.

No signatures. How about an id with a chip and a pin number.

why stop at fingerprints, why not blood sample and go full on Dystopia (Gattaca Style) there is nothing really wrong with paper ballots and Photo ID with matching signature, it just leads to hanging chads and pregnant chads once in a while (See bush gore recount news for reference)

I agree. Let's start with the basics, before we go full Orwell.

Na the sooner we go Orwell the sooner we can fight for the revolution and rebuild the republic from the ashes of the authoritarian dystopian state.

Yes it is. It is biological in nature that I consider and invasion of my person.

There is another problem. What database, (if any) would be used to store said prints? Because if something can be stored digitally, it can be used for fraud and can be hacked. This could potentially make voting fraud even MORE potentially convincing, if you had "proof" of someone's having voted by having their prints to verify it, yet the digital pattern of those prints had been fraudulently obtained.

Just food for thought.

No solution is perfect, but we aren't even doing the low hanging fruit solutions, yet.

It was extreme to think Americans would give up their freedoms for safety, but post 9/11 America is a different breed.

not a straw man, lets see, mask mandates, forced closers of businesses for public safety, its much harder to buy a gun then in the pre 9/11 days. bumper stocks are outlawed in most states now. mag round limits, bullet buttons, would you like more?

Bruh, not strawman I'm arguing to your point of 'Because this is extreme to expect a blood sample' my point is a lot of things post 9/11 where considered too extreme in the past but happened anyway. Not a Strawman argument.
