I remember a clip of him saying something like "Even if all the other negros started violently protesting, I would be the only one staying peaceful." It may have not been that word for word. Honestly, when i was a kid, i did not really like him. It was not until i started listening to some of his speeches that i actually started to respect him. I do know that he was sort of hypocritical though.
