This guy is my spirit animal. I got into it with my Doc yesterday, and every argument he had was this arrogant appeal to authority. It was amazing like the Lord put all the words in my mouth for me smoothly and succinctly, I demolished every argument. Then he tried with the death totals and how some are ok with that but he isn’t blah blah blah. So I was then able to enlighten him on how per the CDC’s own website they aren’t counting the flu this year! He didn’t know. He had Nothing. I would have been sorta ok if he’d have leveled with me and admitted it was because he was afraid of losing his biz or whatever. But that condescending attitude is insufferable. I absolutely will not be bullied into going along with a lie, it’s like pretending the crazy person really is a toaster. It’s dishonest and disgusting and I won’t do it. It’s up to the Docs- if all of them would stop pretending then we could move on.
