This. There is no limit to presidential pardons.

He can only pardon Federal crimes. May be able to block extradition from state to state too, not sure.

hloblart 4 points ago +4 / -0

But a state judge(Which this guy isn't) would need to conduct the trial of course.

If we had a real DOJ and impartial legal system, his ass would be in the unemployment line already

Exactly. People are free to say whatever stupid shit they want to... but that does not make any of it true, OR worth listening to.

I've condensed the left's playbook down to a few points:

  1. DARVO everything
  2. Opposition to any progressive stance is oppression/racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic
  3. State backed violence and criminality must be used to intimidate and demoralize
  4. Key players in strategic positions will use their power as needed by just making up whatever bullshit is need to accomplish their goals. Opposition to these ad-hoc asspull moves is dangerous to our Democracy.

I'm so proud that your average everyday patriot is waking up to the seriousness of our situation.

I was listening to the news the other day, and someone being interviewed said that law and order doesn't exist in this country anymore and we may have to start shooting judges and politicians to protect ourselves from tyranny.

Of course I would never say that, or even make that up. But people are saying it.

But why would people say that we're close to having to shoot judges and politicians to protect ourselves from tyranny? Seems rather extreme.

But it's what the people are saying!

Brief history lesson insert.

Who's heard of Isaac Charles Parker, Federal Judge for the US District Court in Arkansas, appointed by President U.S. Grant. He earned the nickname The Hangin Judge, for his affinity for issuing death sentences, sentencing 160 people to death during his tenure.

This fuckin guy in the picture should get that name too, although for another reason.

What is hilarious is when they try this stuff it can be applied to previous presidents also. Obama pardon a lot of people.

1
SyNiKaLiTy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Last I checked, a Presidential Pardon, is exactly that. Wiped the sheet CLEAN. Judges don't get to second guess that. Presidential Pardon's are the HIGHEST in the chain and last I checked, NO Judge can question them.

1

I am not a lawyer. But this judge does not seem to understand the pardon process. At all.

This is just more fake news for their narrative to get the idiots who watch the msm religiously to freak out even more.
