Not everyone can be so brash, its just not in them. They need to be led to a degree, you have to convince them they aren't alone, as a matter of fact, that's the majority. Do you think the 1760s was full of people that all weren't afraid of the crown and the governors? It took a relatively small faction to show them the way and get them to the light.
