I came within a breath of congratulating the mother on instilling fear of an invisible monster in her children. Instead I moved on. I am furious. I am sad. I am in disbelief. To all you parents teaching your kids to "go along to get along", fuck you all. You are doing damage that will never be undone not just to your kids, but to the rest of us who will have to deal with their behavioral problems and trust issues for years to come. You deserve a millstone around your necks. God dammit- teach them to question authority! Even yours.

kids will be kids and be hysterical. I wouldn't take it as bad parenting unless the parent was directly telling them to do that

They are making children afraid of human contact and being outside. Also hiding people's faces from them so they can't learn facial expressions and recognize strangers as human. It's fucked up.

Even I don't remember what my local liquor store clerk looks like, because he's been in a mask for 9 months.

Yeah it's taking a toll on everyone. But kids not having school is pretty bad

The younger ones bother me more. I meet plenty of anti-social possibly depressed 3-4 year olds kids it is strange to see them so calm. It's creepy, will they get over it?
