That is the fake name the World Health Organization gave it so that it wouldn’t “stigmatize” China.

But we already know it was CHINA who covered up the disease’s existence and allowed it to spread.

Call it ”Chinavirus” instead so people will be reminded where it came from!

SARS-2.

The news scared people over SARS, but we didn't ruin the nation over it. Ideally linking the new to the familiar forces people to evaluate differing responses in relation to each other, perhaps questioning the current response.

Plus, it's literally SARS-2 (SARS-COV-2).

If you want a scientific designation of some kind to sound big brain, just call it SARS II, SARS-COV-2, or just new/novel coronavirus. I mostly call it WuFlu because that's what I've been calling it for over a year now.
