She is 100% right, that "get over it guy" from the pence event earlier is a massive fuck up for thinking that was a good avenue to turn out the vote. These people seem to think that trump is some anomaly and that people are ready to go back to hardcore Neo-con politics and get in line. Maybe in this run off people should do that, but long term? it is just going to cause a huge amount of voters to atrophy for the republicans. I can say for myself that while i recognize in a practical sense Neo-con republicans are better than the socialists and democrats they are still unacceptable. It's like recognizing that AIDS is probably less of a big deal than Stage 4 Lung Cancer. I don't want either of these things and won't support them. That political wing just needs to die, i will suck it up and do a "lesser of two evils" in a very short term time frame but not as a permanent basis. People just accepting this garbage with no pushback for decades is why we are where we are.
We are about to enter a new era of primarying. The money won't come from the RNC. It will come from Patriotic Americans. Trump supporters are the future of the conservative movement.
I hope so because i genuinely believe at this point that allowing people like Romney, Crenshaw, Graham and their Ilk to lose to a democrat is preferable as it means we will be able to have a real candidate contest them in the next race and remove a bad actor from our side. If it wasn't for how dire this situation was right now i would be 100% in favor of not turning out for either Perdue or Leoffler. Going forward into 2022 and especially 2024 the party-line support ends. Run a genuine America First Candidate or lose.
Unfortunately, the next race might be too late. If Biden is actually sworn in with control of both Houses on Congress, that's a doomsday scenario. The progressive agenda would become reality.
