My crazy prepper uncle has random family drills about home invasions and bug out scenarios. He practices firearm acquisition from various positions in his home and shop and makes his 3 kids do it too.

He's been "hyper vigilant" since the late 90s - love the hell out of him, helped me big time on the armored M35A2C build out a couple years ago. He knows he's nuts, lol :)
Look though, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you! And he's better off than most. I'll be with them in a fight any day.
