At best assuming blacks stay on the plantation and join in for BLM's "America's Over" movement, well blacks make up 21% of active duty and less than that for reserve and guard.

How large a percentage of those on active duty are logistics and support?

According to this somewhat random paper (it might well be untrustworthy, however), from 2009, it describes "black participation" in the combat arms as much lower than it ought to be: https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a499283.pdf . And this source from 2018 AFAICT claims that most of the African-Americans serving in the military are women: https://www.statista.com/statistics/214869/share-of-active-duty-enlisted-women-and-men-in-the-us-military/ .

It seems that African-Americans are normally or underrepresented in combat arms and overrepresented in support and logistics.

And I definitely do agree with the importance of logistics and support.
