The reason why the democrats can ignore the progressives is because they know that the progressives will vote for the uni-party, because they get told that if they don't, it's the end of democracy.

It's the same line that we're told by the uni-party operatives here regarding rinos, that we continue to vote for. The only difference is the operatives here say Republic.
