I expect you’re right, but any “wiping” will leave an actionable trail, and data is often still recoverable even after the files are deleted. I expect you’re right, in that they know about apps like bleach bit, but the riggers also haven’t proven themselves the most competent of cheaters. So fingers crossed!
I’m glad but according to this video all you need to do is put a program on the USB card. When you’re done it can’t be that hard to erase the program. I hope they’re at least evaluating the cards too.

Not that hard to erase. Not that hard to recover either. You can fully erase a drive if you know what you're doing but most people don't.
