Only the Democrats knew the level of fraud they would be employing to try to steal the election. Trump suspected it, but did not know for sure. Imagine trying to get ACB on the court today. The previously crazy demands that she recuse from election lawsuits would be way less ridiculous. Anyone can see what happened here, so who could claim to come to this with no preconceptions? ACB may or may not have recused, but she would have taken an infernal amount of flak for not recusing having been nominated by Trump only a couple months ago. Now, she can rule in the majority in defense of the Constitution as freely as any other justice.

I agree. Kavanaugh was a complete disappointment. I backed the guy entirely, convinced people to call to make sure the accusations against him were trashed, and he gives power to the people that tried to destroy him. But ACB wasn't good either, and you have to admit I was right.
This was always a long shot. I would have liked to see five justices rule in Trump's favor. Everyone who didn't deserves equal criticism and an equal chance to redeem him or herself in later Trump cases headed their way.
