I hereby officially Adopt Rudy Giuliani as my Uncle

I'm not expecting or hoping he'll buy me a truck in the future, like a good uncle. Or show up drunk and tell funny stories, but my gosh I wish he would. Rudy could tell me anything. I love my new uncle Giuliani. We're both Italian americans, so there's that also.

Btw in ancient china, people often called older wise or skillful men they looked up to, 'uncle'. It was an endearing term

It's true. Basically any man your father's age can be called "uncle" in Chinese.
It's a show of respect.

We do it too in South Africa.Everyone older is Uncle or Aunty.Or Oom and Tannie in Afrikaans.I got called Tannie for the first time by a young waiter when I was late 30s. I'm still offended😂
