The left lies about their enemies. They lie about Republicans, and they lied about classical conservatives (see: monarchists). Only difference is they have been lying about me for far longer than they have been lying about you.
Our founding fathers are filled with monarchists. If you had a time machine and went back to the constitutional convention, you couldn't toss a stone in the federalist camp without hitting a monarchist.
