mRNA is DOWNSTREAM of DNA. DNA gets transcribed into mRNA which gets turned into PROTEINS. mRNA does NOT alter DNA. It's just a "copy" of the DNA code which are instructions to make the protein.
What Bill Gates is saying here is that instead of injecting someone with the antigen that mounts an immune response, we inject "the code" which is mRNA into the body, which your cells can use to quickly manufacture the protein that mounts the immune response. mRNA only lasts in the body for a few hours before being degraded. IT DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR DNA!
All true, but you're assuming that only an mRNA molecule coding for the CV19 antigen is in the vaccine. It could be coding for another self-similar antigen to which our immune systems could produce antibodies to gradually attack a specific tissue (eg. reproductive system or some neural tissues specializing expressing certain neuro-transmitters). Think beta hemolytic streptococcus antibody's impact on heart muscle.
