When someone doesn't give you an answer they're often lying

Some people are a lot better at this guy at hiding the fact they're not giving you an answer, but this guy really isn't giving an answer

Maybe? "Why would I steal that", "How could you ask me that", "I would never do anything like that", "I swear to god I didn't steal that", "Ask anyone, I didn't steal that"

It's an area I'm interested in but those examples might have come from a Mark Bouton or Chris Voss or David Lieberman book I've read? It was off the top of my head though so I can't point you to which one
