I always asked myself what keeps people obeying the law. I mean, if everyone or most everyone just decided not to uphold it, enforce it etc. there really wouldn't be anything keeping it together. I've always wondered what keeps things going.

I mean, you can't throw EVERYONE in jail.

Now I see that it really all depends on everyone holding the same culture and the same ethic. It all falls apart so easily.
