There is a happy medium between drunk posting and truly informative insightful posts. It’s when you channel your inner drunk mind without the intoxication but with the wit and lack of inhibition!
The insightful posts like talking about federalism, founding father intent, etc are all great and informative, but rarely will they get more than 100 upvotes. I still enjoy reading them in “new” nonetheless. But you have to mix that with the meme periodically. And even a clever meme may not take off just due to poor timing.
I truly feel the main audience and source for upvotes here is looking for the instant “gotcha” of a dank meme, a timely dank meme (see my “do I seem rattled” meme) or for hottt posts of Chanel Rion or Melissa Carone or absolutely flaming shitposts against commies. This is why I love this place.
My memes are gold, but they’re received like poopy TP.
It’s other peoples’ fault, they’re the ones letting me down, yes, I get that on an intellectual level, but it still does make me feel bad.
