It took years of rioting to destabilize the government in Iran and make them lose favorability. Khomenei even had to flee for a time but returned eventually to a "hero's welcome". He's going to try to play a "savior" role for the country--he wants to be in charge permanently as its leader.
I think he's being brought "out of the closet" to be a cheerleader for Biden and a mascot for the left. I'm convinced they truly believe he's the greatest orator of all time and his "dignified" voice will help lube us up for the Great Reset.
