She worked for Fords in IT. Her job title may have been very misleading, more than likely she installed keyboards, mice and updated desktop software and issued email addresses.
The chance she has touched a network device, let alone a server farm, is slim to none.
I don't think you have touched a server farm. You would be lost in the 5 that I work with. I work in IT and I hail from the days when there was no such thing as an IT degree. As a "Network Administrator" I handled everything from servers to workstations to hubs to switches to mice to keyboards, to running cable, to database administration. Now, everything is segregated. THERE ARE NO SERVER FARM MONKEYS THAT KNOW JACK ABOUT KEYBOARDS. Or vice versa. You have idiots who are called "Server Administrators" who create accounts all day and IT techs who reimage computers rather than troubleshoot a problem. I can dismantle a keyboard and rewire it. Can you? I know the tracings to cut on an Amiga 500 motherboard to convert Fast RAM to Chip RAM. Do you? You don't even know what that means. You don't know what this woman knows. I know this much, YOU are a lightweight. Go pound sand.
I was going to do a long reply here but why bother. I can't tell what point either daisywicksghost or Ronaldus are trying to make. Both of them seem to be belitting IT desktop support people as "Just plugs in keyboards" while Ronaldus seems to be making it the navy seal copypasta.
I've probably been in this field as long as anyone else, and I can honestly say you can't have the l33t gibson hackers without the box movers. It's a field where if you're smart, you can move up and out of being a box mover.
i work IT and am the only IT guy in a 20 man company
i do everything from managing the devs that work on the store to doing migrations and setting up new services we use to onboarding offboarding and basically spent 50% of my day helping people fix shit on their PCs and opening files they cant open
i also installed a switch last week and do cable management at desks so it looks neater
i see myself basically as a digital janitor
wish i could do more actual IT stuff like working on the frontend with code and shit but there is no time and i lack the skills to actually work on the Magento store except forwarding stuff to the devs and quality assurance of their work
i also make like $20 an hour and live ina 1 room appartment lmao
so yeah IT jobs have a huge range and yeah i have an art degree
There's a lot of good work for freelancing in IT. She could make a good living being an independent contractor.

This reads like the navy seal copypasta

You sound like a legit keyboard warrior (since you rewire them).
Oh, and thank you for admitting that you don't know anything about IT. Much appreciated.
Like any typical libtard, you have no actual substantive reply.
You're a moron. Go hug Joe Biden's nut sack.
