My wife can't understand me half the time. The other half of the time, I'm forced to speak the King's English instead of using my native Michigan accent.
True based Michiganders don't have time to fuck around. They're trying to say the damn thing as quickly as possible and get on their way, which is where much of the sass shows up.
They are all thinking, "With a lake every 5 miles in this state on average, I'd rather be fishing than talking to your dumb ass."
Plan B: "Not to mention there's 20-30+ deer per square mile."
Note: Michigan and Indiana DNR doesn't bother tracking deer numbers anymore (i.e. completely unregulated deer populations in both of those states). Texas averaged 15 deer per square mile which is good enough for 5th back in 2016.

Come hunt in NJ. They have 120+ deer per square mile, if you can believe it.
That's a lot of deer.
I never got into hunting, but with that many deer I would feel like I would have to.
When you buy a vehicle over 2500 lbs they make you take hunter's safety as well
