This is a problem for so many people trying to make predictions. They make a linear extrapolation of a trend. However, nothing in nature (which includes people) moves in a straight line, and that is why so many predictions/extrapolations fail.
In reality, people don't move in a straight line - they adapt to changing conditions. The mask mandates are an example. I wear a neck gator, and pull it up a bit to mollify the people in the store when I go shopping. I am sort of wearing a mask, but not really. I never cover my nose, and nobody ever says a thing. It is a form of compromise on my part.
I go along with it because it is basically harmless. However, going along with something trivial DOES NOT mean that I would put up with anything more serious. That is the mistake people make with their linear extrapolations.
As another example, I will not be getting the chinese vaccine. Period. Nobody can force me to do so. I am not alone in that decision. Over 40% of people in a recent survey said they also would NOT get the vaccine.
Therefore, the linear extrapolation of the OP fails right there. A large number of people will not get the vaccine in the first place, much less put up with a vaccination ID. As far as getting chipped - fuggedaboutit.
Yeah... No.
